First time visiting today, beautiful location and delicious food. We ordered a beef brisket sandwich and corn beef pie with a side of fries. The brisket beef was lovely, soft and flavoursome. Also had a caramel iced latte and banana milkshake, both great! Will definitely be returning as the menu had plenty of choice, and the cakes also looked yummy. Friendly service
First visit today and thoroughly enjoyed it. We walked along from South Hylton expecting sandwiches and light bites and were over the moon that they were serving Sunday Lunch. Incredible value for money, will definitely be going back. Lovely food and great service.
A small, out of the way location, but well worth the trip. First rate customer service and exceptionally good food, all in a first class location. Highly recommended. Update on sunny day in May. Another visit to this wonderful place, lemon drizzle cake special this time. Perfection. Nice to be back here, food excellent as always. First class customer service, all in a perfect location.
What a gem had Christmas lunch today fabulous. Three courses for less than £20 each. Would highly recommend. Staff attentive and friendly
We stumbled across The Old School House Kitchen after a Sunday morning stroll, what a lovely find! The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, and steeped in history, making it a perfect spot to relax. We had chicken burgers and carrot cake, both of which were absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and attentive, adding to the charm of the place. The only small downside was that the flat whites we ordered were served lukewarm, but this didn’t put us off from returning. We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back again! Highly recommended for anyone looking for a cozy and characterful spot with great food.
My husband and I visited with our daughter and dog. The man who served us couldn't have been nicer, when he realised we had a dog with us, he got her a sausage free of charge. He was very friendly and the food was lovely. Will definitely return.
